Key Features of the Schemes:

  • Rythu Bharosa: Farmers will receive ₹12,000 per acre annually, divided into two installments for the kharif and rabi seasons. This is an increase from the ₹10,000 provided earlier under the Rythu Bandhu scheme.
  • Indiramma Atmeeya Bharosa: Landless agricultural laborers will receive ₹12,000 annually, marking their inclusion in welfare benefits for the first time.
  • Indiramma Housing: Beneficiaries will get ₹5 lakh for constructing houses on their plots. The amount will be disbursed in five installments based on construction progress.
  • New Ration Cards: After a gap of seven years, new ration cards will be issued to Below Poverty Line (BPL) families.

Launch Details:

The rollout in 16 mandals of Hyderabad district has been postponed to February due to a beneficiary identification survey. The Chief Minister emphasized a phased implementation plan, starting with selected villages and expanding to all districts by March 31.

Implementation and Monitoring:

Chief Secretary A. Santhi Kumari held a meeting with district collectors to finalize preparations. Special teams will oversee the distribution of benefits, and gram sabhas will be organized to ensure transparency. Beneficiary lists will be displayed in villages, and officials will conduct field verifications to prevent misuse.
