Hyderabad,April 04,2026: The Telangana government has finalised the schedule for the Rythu Bharosa 2nd installment for farmers in the state. The funds are expected to be credited to eligible farmers’ bank accounts in the second week of April.

Rythu Bharosa 2nd Installment

The state government confirmed that the second installment of Rythu Bharosa financial assistance will be released in phases due to fund availability and financial planning. The first installment has already been completed, and preparations are now underway for the second installment distribution.

According to official information, the government departments are making arrangements to transfer the funds directly to farmers’ bank accounts through Direct Benefit Transfer. The Chief Minister held a review meeting with senior officials and instructed them to ensure that the funds are credited without delay.

For the second installment, the government is giving priority to farmers who own agricultural land between 1 acre and 5 acres. These farmers are expected to receive financial assistance at the rate of Rs 6000 per acre per season.

The government has already successfully completed the first installment distribution. On March 22, financial assistance worth Rs 3590 crore was transferred directly to around 70 lakh farmers through Direct Benefit Transfer. This support helped small farmers manage agricultural expenses such as seeds, fertilizers, and cultivation costs.

The government also announced that farmers who own more than 5 acres of land will receive the financial assistance in the third installment. The state government aims to complete the entire payment distribution process by the end of April.

The government plans to provide Rs 6000 per acre per season for both Kharif and Rabi seasons under the Rythu Bharosa scheme. Due to financial limitations, the government decided to release the funds in three phases instead of releasing the entire amount at once.

Officials advised farmers to ensure that their bank accounts are active and Aadhaar is linked to their bank accounts to avoid any payment issues. The second installment release is expected to provide financial relief to a large number of farmers across Telangana.
