Hyderabad.14.09.2024: The Telangana government has announced a holiday for government offices, schools, and colleges on September 17 in the districts of Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy, and Medchal-Malkajgiri due to the Ganesh idol immersion procession.
Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari issued a government order stating, “September 17 will be a holiday for all government offices, schools, and colleges located in and around Hyderabad, Secunderabad, Ranga Reddy, and Medchal-Malkajgiri districts for the Ganesh idol immersion procession.”
The order also mentioned that “November 9, 2024 (Second Saturday) will be a working day for all government offices, schools, and colleges in these areas, to make up for the holiday on September 17, 2024 (Tuesday).”
