Hyderabad.02.09.2025-Telangana government has announced a new Telangana tourism policy with an investment of ₹15,000 crore over five years, aiming to create 3 lakh jobs and promote Telangana as a global tourism destination.

Nine-Day Telangana Tourism Festival from September 21
As part of the launch of the Telangana tourism policy, the government will host a nine-day cultural festival from September 21 to 30, featuring events across Telangana and Hyderabad.
Major Programs Scheduled
- Sept 27: Tank Bund Carnival
- Sept 28: Guinness World Record attempt with over 10,000 women at LB Stadium
- Sept 29: Bathukamma Contest
- Sept 30: Floral Parade and Rangoli at Tank Bund
The festival will also include cultural shows, rides, rallies, and art exhibitions to attract both domestic and international tourists.
Telangana Jobs Boost Through Tourism
The investment is expected to generate 3 lakh Telangana jobs in hospitality,travel, and cultural sectors. The policy will also encourage private investments, improve infrastructure, and make Telangana a hub for cultural tourism in India.
