Burgampahad,March,10,2026 : Bhadradri Kothagudem District Collector Ankit conducted a surprise inspection at the Kasturba Girls School in Burgampahad mandal. During the visit, he checked school records and reviewed the midday meal being served to students.

During the visit, the Collector examined school records and inspected the facilities available at the hostel. He also personally checked the midday meal served to the students to ensure that quality food was being provided.
The Collector stated that nutritious and quality food must be provided to students as it plays an important role in their health and academic performance. He said students can perform better in studies only when they remain healthy.
He warned that strict action would be taken if meals are not served according to the prescribed menu. The Collector directed Tahsildar Prasad to ensure that food is provided to students strictly as per the approved menu.
During the inspection, the Collector also interacted with students in the hostel and gathered information about the facilities and services available to them.
The visit was conducted as part of routine monitoring of government residential schools and welfare hostels to ensure proper implementation of welfare schemes and facilities for students.
Tahsildar Prasad, MPDO Jamala Reddy, village deputy sarpanch Gunde Venkanna and other officials were present during the inspection.
