New Delhi, March,20,2026:KVS Admission 2026 registration has started for Balvatika and Class 1 from March 20, 2026. The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has opened the online application process through its official website.
Parents and guardians can submit applications online until April 2, 2026. The process is open for Balvatika 1 and 3, as well as Class 1 admissions.
The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has announced the schedule for provisional admission lists. The first list for Balvatika 1, 2 and 3 will be released on April 8, 2026. For Class 1, the first provisional list will be published on April 9, 2026.
In Assam, Kerala and Puducherry, the Class 1 provisional list will be released on April 10, 2026 due to polling for General Elections.
For Class 1 admission, children must be six years old as on March 31 of the academic year. Children born on April 1 will also be considered eligible.
Applicants are required to submit valid age proof documents. These include birth certificates issued by municipal authorities, records from village panchayats, certificates from notified civic bodies, and records from defence services or hospitals where applicable.
To apply, parents need to visit the official website and register with basic details. After registration, they must fill out the application form, upload required documents and submit the form. A confirmation page should be downloaded after submission.
The organisation has stated that the address entered in the application form will be treated as final for determining neighbourhood criteria. No changes will be allowed after submission, except in cases where government employees shift to official accommodation after the provisional list is released.
The admission process will continue with the release of provisional lists and further admission formalities as per the announced schedule.
