Amaravathi,March,23,2026: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu said the government is using artificial intelligence in multiple sectors including agriculture and healthcare. He stated that AI-based services will be expanded across the state in the coming year.
Speaking at the South Asia Learning Summit, Chandrababu Naidu explained that artificial intelligence is already being used to identify crop diseases before they spread. This information is being sent to farmers in advance to help them protect their crops.
He said the government is also implementing the Sanjeevani project for healthcare services. Under this project, health records of citizens are being digitized. Based on these digital health records, people will receive guidance on food habits and health precautions.
He said the main goal is to prevent diseases before they occur and provide treatment at low cost for those who fall ill. Digital technology and artificial intelligence will help reduce healthcare expenses and improve early diagnosis.
Chandrababu Naidu stated that within the coming year, every citizen will have access to an AI Doctor and every farmer will have access to an AI Agronomist. These services are expected to provide health advice to individuals and farming guidance to farmers using digital platforms.
The Chief Minister said the government is focusing on technology-driven governance and digital services to improve public services, agriculture productivity, and healthcare management across the state.
The announcements were made during the South Asia Learning Summit where technology, governance, and digital innovation were discussed by policymakers and experts.
