New Delhi,April 03,2026: The 2026 Suzuki Burgman Street new model has been launched in India at an ex showroom price of Rs 1.02 lakh in Delhi. The updated scooter comes with design changes, new features, and improved practicality.
Suzuki has introduced several updates to the Burgman Street while retaining its maxi style scooter design. The scooter now gets a sleeker and more premium look along with split lens LED headlights with integrated DRLs, LED indicators, an updated LED tail lamp, and a dark smoked windscreen.
The top variant of the scooter gets copper coloured inserts to differentiate it from the standard version. The scooter also features an upswept muffler which adds to the updated styling.
In terms of features, the higher variant now comes with a 4.2 inch connected TFT display with turn by turn navigation. The scooter also includes a keyless system that allows remote seat opening, steering lock, and fuel lid access.
Other features include a USB charging outlet, dual utility hooks, and the Suzuki Easy Start System.
The scooter is powered by a 124cc single cylinder air cooled engine that produces 8.3 bhp and 10.2 Nm of torque. Suzuki has updated the CVT transmission to improve acceleration between 30 to 60 kmph. The scooter also gets a new exhaust and roller type clutch for smoother and quieter performance.
Storage capacity has also been improved. The under seat storage has increased from 21.5 litres to 24.6 litres and can now fit a full face helmet. The fuel tank capacity remains 5.5 litres.
The Burgman Street continues to use a lightweight underbone frame which is now around 500 grams lighter and claimed to be 25 percent stiffer. The scooter has a kerb weight of 114 kg, while the TFT variant is slightly heavier.
The new Burgman Street will continue to be sold in multiple variants and colour options across India.
