Uttarakhand,26.12.2024: A tragic accident occurred in Uttarakhand early this morning when a bus falls into valley in Nainital district. The incident claimed three lives and left dozens injured.

The bus, carrying 27 passengers, was traveling from Almora to Haldwani. As it neared Bhimtal town, the driver lost control at a sharp bend, causing the vehicle to fall into a 1,500-foot-deep gorge.

Emergency services, including police, SDRF, and fire department personnel, quickly responded to the scene. Rescue operations were launched immediately to save the injured passengers.

Around 15 ambulances were dispatched to the site. Rescuers used ropes to pull the injured out of the steep gorge. The 24 injured passengers were rushed to nearby hospitals for treatment.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident, and local officials have urged drivers to exercise caution on mountainous roads.
