After hearing about the Pahalgam terror attack, US President Donald Trump called Prime Minister Narendra Modi to express his condolences. Trump strongly condemned the attack and said the United States stands with India in its fight against terrorism. He also offered full support to India to bring those responsible to justice.

Prime Minister Modi thanked Trump for his support and assured that India will punish those behind this cowardly act. “We are determined to defeat terrorism and those supporting it,” Modi said.

The incident took place around 3 pm in the Baisaran valley near Pahalgam, a famous tourist spot known as ‘Mini Switzerland’ for its beautiful green meadows. Terrorists reportedly came down from the hills and started shooting at tourists.
