OPPO Reno 16 series is set to launch in India on July 2, introducing the new OPPO Reno 16 and Reno 16c smartphones. The company has already confirmed several key features, while additional specifications and expected pricing have surfaced through recent reports ahead of the official launch.
The upcoming smartphones will be available through Amazon India, OPPO’s online store, and authorised retail outlets after launch. OPPO is also expected to unveil a new camera accessory called the OPPO Bubble alongside the devices.
OPPO Reno 16 Specifications
OPPO has confirmed that the Reno 16 will feature a 6.32-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 1,800 nits. The smartphone also introduces the AI Snap Key, allowing users to quickly save content using OPPO’s AI features.
The camera setup includes a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP telephoto lens offering 3.5x optical zoom. On the front, users get a 50MP ultra-wide selfie camera. OPPO has confirmed support for 4K 60fps HDR video recording across all three rear cameras.
According to recent reports, the Reno 16 is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, paired with a 6,700mAh battery supporting 80W fast charging. The device is also expected to feature IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K durability ratings.
The Reno 16c is expected to offer a 6.57-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,400 nits peak brightness. Reports suggest it may be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Energy chipset.
The device is expected to pack a larger 7,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging. It is also likely to include the AI Snap Key, aerospace-grade aluminium frame, AI camera features, and the same IP66/IP68/IP69/IP69K durability certifications.
Expected India Price
According to recent leaks, the OPPO Reno 16 may be priced at Rs 59,999, while the Reno 16c 5G could launch at Rs 49,999. OPPO has not officially confirmed the pricing, and final details will be announced during the July 2 launch event.
OPPO Bubble Accessory
Alongside the Reno 16 series, OPPO is expected to introduce the OPPO Bubble, a magnetic accessory featuring a 1.73-inch AMOLED display. It can function as a wireless camera viewfinder and remote shutter while also supporting Bluetooth connectivity, custom wallpapers, interactive pets, IP54 protection, and a 550mAh battery.
