Achampet,March,23,2026: Achampet Hospital Theft incident has been reported in Achampet town of Nagarkurnool district, where a woman allegedly stole a gold chain from a patient undergoing treatment at a private hospital. The incident was recorded on CCTV cameras, and police have launched an investigation.

According to reports, the theft took place in a private hospital in Achampet town. An unidentified woman entered the hospital pretending to be hospital staff and approached a female patient who was undergoing treatment.

The suspect reportedly told the patient not to keep a gold chain around her neck while in the hospital and advised her to remove it for safety. After gaining the patientโ€™s trust, the woman took the gold chain and left the hospital premises.

It was later discovered that the gold chain, weighing approximately two tolas, had been stolen. Hospital authorities reviewed the CCTV footage, which captured the entire incident.

Based on the CCTV footage, police have started an investigation and are trying to identify and trace the suspect. Search operations are currently ongoing to locate the accused woman.

Police officials have advised people to remain alert in hospitals and public places and not to trust unknown persons posing as staff members.

The investigation is ongoing, and further details are expected after the suspect is identified.
