Hyderabad,March,22,2026: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy reviewed the Bhadrachalam Temple Development plans with ministers and officials on March 22, 2026. He instructed authorities to complete the development works in three phases to ensure better facilities for devotees.
During the review meeting held at his residence, the Chief Minister discussed various development designs related to the temple. He directed officials to complete the first phase of development works by March 31 next year.
The Chief Minister reviewed the temple development plans based on the land acquisition completed so far. He instructed officials to prepare estimates and plans for the first phase of development works in line with the upcoming Godavari Pushkaralu.
He said that the construction and development of ghats near the temple should be planned according to the Pushkaralu requirements. Officials were also instructed to prepare plans and cost estimates in advance for the remaining development works to be taken up after the Pushkaralu.
The Chief Minister emphasized that all development works should be carried out without disturbing the natural surroundings of the temple and strictly according to Agama Shastra guidelines.
The review meeting was attended by Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, Ministers Konda Surekha, Tummala Nageswara Rao, Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, MPs Vem Narender Reddy and Balaram Naik, Chief Secretary Ramakrishna Rao, senior officials, temple authorities, and priests.
The government aims to improve infrastructure and facilities for devotees visiting the temple through the Bhadrachalam Temple Development project. Officials will now prepare phase wise plans and estimates for the upcoming works.
