Hyderabad,March,23,2026: Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy said the Arya Vysya community is playing an important role in the reconstruction of Telangana. He also announced that the state government will officially organize Vasavi Ammavari Jayanti celebrations.
The Chief Minister attended and spoke at the Sri Vasavi Mahashakti Mahotsavam organized by the Telangana Arya Vysya Corporation at LB Stadium. During his speech, he said the Arya Vysya community is like the backbone of the state economy and has contributed to Telangana reconstruction, culture, and economic development.
He assured that the Arya Vysya community will receive proper recognition and respect in Telangana. He said the government will take necessary steps to ensure that the identity and dignity of the community are protected.
The Chief Minister also congratulated the community for achieving a Guinness Book record through the Vasavi collective parayanam conducted during the event. He stated that the government will always support the Arya Vysya community.
Speaking about Mahatma Gandhi, the Chief Minister said Gandhi proved that a war could be won through non violence. He said Gandhi introduced methods such as non cooperation and the salt satyagraha movement, which helped India achieve independence.
