Hyderabad,April 01,2026: Hyderabad Tank Bund Shiva received financial assistance from Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy after saving many lives at Hussain Sagar. The Chief Minister also provided a Home Guard job to Shiva’s son Venumadhav along with the appointment letter.
Shiva, who has rescued many people who accidentally fell into Hussain Sagar at Tank Bund in Hyderabad, was facing financial difficulties due to family responsibilities. After learning about his situation, the Chief Minister responded and ordered officials to provide necessary assistance.
Following the Chief Minister’s instructions, officials took several steps to support Shiva and his family. As part of this support, the family met the Chief Minister and received financial assistance of five lakh rupees.
During the meeting, Shiva requested the government to construct a swimming pool near Tank Bund to help him earn a livelihood. The Chief Minister directed officials to take necessary steps in that direction.
The Chief Minister also instructed officials to allot a double bedroom house to Shiva’s family as part of government welfare support.
Family members of Tank Bund Shiva expressed happiness for receiving support directly from the Chief Minister and thanked the government for helping their family during difficult times.
Shiva is known for rescuing several people who fell into Hussain Sagar lake due to accidents and other incidents. His rescue efforts helped save many lives over the years.
Officials are expected to take further steps regarding the swimming pool construction and housing allotment as per the Chief Minister’s directions.
