Hyderabad, March,06,2026: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy addressed a gathering at Shilpakala Vedika and spoke about the implementation of SC classification, government welfare programs, and the role of government employees. The Revanth Reddy Speech highlighted the government’s commitment to social justice and development.

Revanth Reddy Speech

The Chief Minister said the present government was formed because people wanted a system that brings change in their lives. He stated that during the 2023 elections his party did not have the support of administrative power or illegal wealth, but people supported them with the hope of better governance.

Revanth Reddy said the issue of SC classification has been pending for many years and several people had struggled and even sacrificed their lives demanding justice. He said he has been witnessing the issue for nearly two decades and had supported the movement whenever possible.

He mentioned that activists such as Krishna Madiga and Satish Madiga had approached him in the past, and he had extended support to their efforts. He also recalled that when a discussion on the issue was raised earlier in the Assembly, he and other leaders were removed from the House.

The Chief Minister said that after the Supreme Court’s directions, Telangana became the first state to implement SC classification. He added that classification alone may not solve every issue, but the government is prepared to address related concerns including promotions, higher education opportunities and land protection.

Revanth Reddy said government employees are the eyes and ears of the administration and also act as brand ambassadors of government programs. He referred to the 99-day Praja Palana Pragathi Pranalika initiative and said several welfare schemes are being implemented under it.

He asked officials to ensure that ration cards reach every poor household and said people are waiting for schemes such as fine rice distribution, Indiramma housing and free electricity.

The Chief Minister said around 1,000 government employees retire every month and nearly Rs 1,000 crore has to be paid as retirement benefits. Despite financial limitations, the government is continuing welfare and development programs through coordination.

He also stressed the importance of education in improving the lives of disadvantaged communities. The government has increased diet and cosmetic charges for students in government hostels and is planning reforms in the education sector to improve quality.

Revanth Reddy said opportunities in public service should help people support others in society. He stated that his government will continue efforts to protect the legal rights of SC communities and support their progress.

The Chief Minister added that he considers the opportunity to serve as Chief Minister as a chance to help more people and contribute to the development and rebuilding of Telangana.
