Hyderabad,March,22,2026: Rythu Bharosa funds will be credited to the bank accounts of Telangana farmers starting March 22. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy will officially release the funds during a public meeting in Siddipet district.
The Telangana government has announced the release of Rythu Bharosa investment support funds for farmers for the Yasangi season. The funds will be transferred directly to farmers’ bank accounts through Direct Benefit Transfer.
The Chief Minister will launch the fund transfer by pressing a button during a public meeting scheduled to be held in Narmetta in Siddipet district on Sunday. Around 70 lakh farmers across Telangana are expected to benefit from the scheme.
According to the government plan, the funds will be released in three phases. In the first phase, farmers owning less than one acre of land will receive the financial assistance. The government has allocated Rs 3590 crore for the first phase.
Officials stated that once the Chief Minister releases the funds, the money will be credited to farmers’ bank accounts based on priority. Farmers are expected to receive SMS notifications on their mobile phones once the amount is credited.
The second phase of fund release will take place about 20 days after the completion of the first phase. Around Rs 2650 crore will be released in the second phase.
The third phase is expected to be completed by the end of April, with nearly Rs 9000 crore to be credited to farmers’ accounts. This phase will benefit farmers with larger land holdings and tenant farmers.
The previous government implemented the scheme under the name Rythu Bandhu, providing Rs 10000 per acre annually in two installments. The current government increased the amount to Rs 12000 per acre per year under the Rythu Bharosa scheme, providing Rs 6000 per acre per season as investment support.
Officials said the fund transfer process will begin from Sunday afternoon and farmers will start receiving bank credit messages on their mobile phones.
