One major decision was to rename several well-known educational institutions. The Women’s University will now be named after Veeranari Chakali Ailamma, while the Telugu University will be named after Suravaram Pratapa Reddy. Additionally, the Indian Institute of Handloom Technology will be renamed in honor of Konda Lakshman Bapuji.

The cabinet also focused on urban development by strengthening the Hyderabad Urban Development Authority (HYDRA). HYDRA will now have more power to protect lakes, ponds, government properties, and natural resources within the Outer Ring Road (ORR) limits. To help with this, the cabinet approved hiring 169 new officials and 946 outsourced staff. These areas will be monitored through CCTV cameras, linked to the Command Control Center, to prevent illegal activities.

In agriculture, the cabinet announced a bonus of ₹500 per quintal for small paddy farmers, starting from the Kharif season. This will help farmers financially. The government also approved the southern route of the Regional Ring Road and formed a 12-member committee to finalize it.

Other decisions include extending the Police Health Security Scheme to the Special Protection Force (SPF), providing land for a Multi-Modal Logistics Park in Manoharabad, and setting up an industrial park in Khammam’s Errapalem mandal.

Additionally, the cabinet approved 3,000 new teaching and non-teaching positions for newly opened medical colleges. It also fast-tracked the completion of the SLBC project in Nalgonda district, which will provide irrigation to 4 lakh acres of land. These decisions show the government’s dedication to improving infrastructure, education, and agriculture in Telangana.
