Bhadrachalam,March,27,2026: The Bhadrachalam Temple Development Master Plan has officially begun with the foundation ceremony for the first phase of redevelopment works. The ceremony was held on the occasion of Sri Rama Navami in the presence of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and other ministers.
The focus keyword Bhadrachalam Temple Development Master Plan was highlighted during the ceremony as the government aims to develop the temple town as Dakshina Ayodhya. The first phase of redevelopment works will be taken up with an estimated cost of Rs 351 crore.
As part of the project, temple development works and construction of Godavari Pushkar Ghats will be undertaken. The foundation ceremony marked the official start of these development activities.
Officials stated that the redevelopment plan is designed to improve infrastructure and facilities for devotees visiting the temple. The project is part of a larger vision to enhance the spiritual and tourism importance of the temple town.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that the government is committed to developing the temple and surrounding areas to reflect the spiritual heritage of Telangana. The project aims to develop the temple town to international standards while preserving its religious importance.
The Bhadrachalam temple is one of the most important spiritual centers in Telangana and attracts a large number of devotees every year, especially during Sri Rama Navami celebrations.
The first phase redevelopment works are expected to begin following the foundation ceremony, and further development phases will be taken up as part of the master plan in the coming years.
