INDIO, California,April 11,2026: Filipino girl group BINI made history at Coachella 2026 by becoming the first pop group from the Philippines to perform at the globally recognized music festival. The eight-member group took the stage at the Mojave Stage on April 10 during Weekend 1 of the event in Indio, California.

BINI opened their 45-minute set with a remixed version of “Shagidi,” performing alongside male dancers while dressed in golden outfits inspired by modern Filipino fashion. The members later changed into colorful festival-style outfits as the performance continued.

Addressing the crowd during the set, member Aiah said the group was grateful for the opportunity to represent the Philippines on a global stage and share their music with international audiences. Group leader Jhoanna also greeted festivalgoers and expressed excitement about performing in the desert.

The performance featured songs released between 2023 and 2026, including the live debut of “Blush” from the group’s newly released EP Signals, which launched one day before their Coachella appearance.

BINI also performed several of their most popular tracks, including “Pantropiko” and “Salamin, Salamin,” both of which have become major hits for the group on streaming platforms and social media.

Formed in 2019 through ABS-CBN’s talent program Star Hunt Academy, BINI consists of members Aiah, Jhoanna, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, and Sheena. The group has emerged as one of the leading acts in Filipino pop music in recent years.

Their Coachella debut marks a milestone not only for BINI but also for Filipino representation in the global music festival circuit.

BINI is expected to continue promotions for their new EP Signals following their historic Coachella performance.
