This announcement follows Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naiduโ€™s claim that substandard ingredients, including animal fat, were used in the making of the laddus at Tirumala’s Sri Venkateswara Temple during the previous YSRCP government.

Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy dismissed the allegations, accusing the TDP of “politicising religious matters.” He added that the tender process for ingredients has remained unchanged for decades, with strict quality checks in place.
