Minister Seethakka Criticizes BRS in Assembly Over BC Reservations Issue

Hyderabad,March,26,2026: Minister Seethakka strongly criticized the BRS party during the Assembly session. She said the Congress government is committed to social justice and welfare policies.

Speaking in the Assembly, Seethakka said the government has completed important processes including caste census and welfare measures. She alleged that the central government is blocking the increase of BC reservations.

The minister said Congress leader Rahul Gandhi travelled across the country from Kanyakumari to Kashmir to understand the problems faced by people from all sections of society. She said the Congress government is working with the same spirit of social justice.

Seethakka stated that the state government has fulfilled its responsibilities by completing required processes related to caste census and welfare programs. However, she said the central government is creating obstacles in increasing reservations for Backward Classes.

She criticized the previous BRS government and said Congress is focusing on welfare and equality for all communities. She reiterated that social justice remains a priority for the present government.

The issue of BC reservations and caste census continues to be a major political topic in the state Assembly. The government said it will continue its efforts to implement reservation policies.

The minister said the government will take further steps after discussions with the central government regarding reservation approvals.
