The Godavari flood update indicates that the flow of streams, bends, and rivers, including the Godavari River, has increased significantly. SP Rohit emphasized that it is dangerous to visit reservoirs, ponds, and streams for selfies or fishing. He urged parents to prevent children and youths from swimming or taking photos in these hazardous areas.

For emergencies, residents should dial 100 for immediate assistance. The Godavari River is flowing rapidly at Bhadrachalam, and people in inland areas are advised to stay alert and cooperate with police measures.

District Collector Jitesh V Patil has issued the first danger warning for Bhadrachalam town in Bhadradri Kothagudem district. This alert was triggered on 22.07.24 at 06:51 pm when the water flow in the Godavari catchment area reached 43 feet due to continuous rainfall. Collector Patil advised all residents of the hinterland to remain vigilant and move to government-established rehabilitation centers for safety.
