Hyderabad, October 9, 2024: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy handed over 10,006 appointment letters to teachers during the DSC-2024 recruitment event at LB Stadium on Wednesday.
In his speech, Revanth Reddy criticized former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao for delaying the DSC notification, which prevented many aspiring teachers from securing jobs. He pointed out that under the previous government, the notification process took five years, but the new Congress government completed the recruitment process within 65 days.
Revanth Reddy claimed his administration has already issued 30,000 job appointment letters within the first 90 days of coming to power. He emphasized the importance of government schools in shaping Telangana’s future and promised to improve school infrastructure and establish Young India Residential Schools. Additionally, he announced plans to create more job opportunities through the Young India Skill University, focusing on the needs of engineering graduates.
