Rythu Bharosa Funds Released to Farmers Owning Up to One Acre

Hyderabad,March,24,2026: The Telangana government has released Rythu Bharosa funds to farmers owning up to one acre of land. The amount will be credited to bank accounts starting Monday.

The government released Rs. 3,446.94 crore in the first phase for 68.90 lakh farmers across the state. The financial assistance covers 57.45 lakh acres of agricultural land.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy formally released the Rythu Bharosa funds after inaugurating an oil palm factory in Narmetta on Sunday. Since banks were closed on Sunday, the funds are being credited to farmers’ bank accounts on Monday.

Under the scheme, farmers receive Rs. 12,000 per acre annually as investment support. For the Yasangi season, farmers are receiving Rs. 6,000 per acre. The remaining Rs. 5,400 crore will be released in two more installments within the next 45 days, according to the government.

Among all districts, Nalgonda district received the highest allocation under the scheme. A total of 5,22,313 farmers in the district will receive Rs. 268.57 crore in their bank accounts.

Khammam district is next, where around 3.35 lakh farmers will receive Rs. 169.51 crore. In Sangareddy district, about 3.53 lakh farmers will receive Rs. 167.80 crore. In Nagarkurnool district, 3.01 lakh farmers will receive Rs. 157.95 crore. Siddipet district will receive Rs. 153.44 crore for 3.53 lakh farmers.

Medchal Malkajgiri district has received the lowest allocation under the scheme, with Rs. 10.43 crore to be credited to farmers.

The Rythu Bharosa scheme is an investment support program aimed at helping farmers meet cultivation expenses. The government releases the assistance in installments during crop seasons to support agricultural activities.

The remaining funds under the scheme are expected to be released in two phases within the next 45 days, completing the financial assistance distribution for eligible farmers.
